What a Weekend at the Coastal Virginia Magazine Wedding Showcase!

This past Sunday was an unforgettable experience at the Vivid Expressions booth during the Coastal Virginia Magazine Wedding Showcase! A heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who visited our booth or attended my presentation on stage. It was such a pleasure meeting so many wonderful couples and sharing a glimpse of what we do.

The event was held at the enchanting Founder’s Inn and Spa in Virginia Beach, a venue that effortlessly combines elegance and charm. With its colonial-style architecture, lush English gardens, and tranquil pond, it’s an ideal location for an outdoor ceremony. Inside, attendees were greeted by the atrium, where the soaring glass ceilings provided a stunning backdrop—a perfect indoor ceremony option.

At 1 p.m., the main ballroom doors opened, revealing row upon row of Hampton Roads’ finest wedding professionals. It was an inspiring sight!

Taking the Stage

At 1:40 p.m., I had the honor of being the first to take the main stage before the fashion show. To the left of me on stage was a framed concept sketch of our booth’s design. To the right stood one of our clear 3-ft-tall pillars topped with a vase of loose flowers.

During my 15-minute presentation, I spoke about 2025 Wedding Design Trends and demonstrated how to arrange a bouquet featuring some of the year’s most popular colors. I highlighted trends like choosing non-traditional neutral tones such as Pantone’s “Mocha Mousse” (which smelled amazing) and pairing them with muted shades like fragrant peach-colored stock flowers, mauve roses, chocolate ranunculus, dusty rose, taupe, and cream-colored blooms. I also shared exciting trends such as reimagining ceremony aisles, with flowy, curvy layouts taking center stage for a more organic and romantic feel. It was a joy to see attendees so engaged in the presentation.

Afterward, door prizes were announced, including an exclusive Vivid Expressions giveaway: a 1-hour creative consultation and a wedding design concept sketch to help clarify their weddng design vision and use as a blueprint to make bringing their dream wedding to life so much smoother. The Booth Experience

Our booth, located at #21 (directly across from the Founder’s Inn and Spa booth), featured a magical display showcasing another key trend: meadow-style floral arrangements. With cascading draping, oversized blooms, and artistic elements, the entire booth perfectly mirrored the sketch I drew a week and a half ago and shared with attendees during my presentation.

This display vividly demonstrated our creative process, which transforms each couple’s unique love story into a clear vision that’s beautifully brought to life. It was incredibly rewarding to see visitors marvel at the details and artistry of our work.
