Here's A Breakdown Of The Roles:
Wedding & Event Planner:
Planners head up the overall development of your event plan. I like to say they are the "Project Manager" for your wedding or event but you are "the Boss". They oversee contracts, payments, logistics, manage vendors, create timelines, and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Planners focus on managing the big picture but also handle those nitty-gritty details that make your event stress-free. Depending on the size, complexity, and special needs of the event, the number of hours can vary but can range from 80 to 400 hours.
(Day-of) Coordinator:
When most people think of a Coordinator they think “Day of” but the truth is, that title is extremely misleading. In fact, most industry experts would argue that there's no such thing. You see, these professionals step in further out from your event date (typically starting 4 to 6 weeks in advance) to oversee the review and execution of the overall event plan. They are "behind-the-scenes" orchestrators who ensure that your plans are carried out as intended, allowing you to relax and enjoy your special day. You can expect your Coordinator to dedicate a minimum of 25 hours to your event in addition to the day.

Event Designer:
