It was a "Fun & Creative Day": Our Design Workshop Success Story at New Branch Farms

Greetings creative & event enthusiasts. We recently partnered with New Branch Farms to feature them as a “Host venue” for one of our "Design Your Wedding In A Day" workshops and I am thrilled to share that it was an ABSOLUTE success!

As you may know, Vivid Expressions LLC's design & production studio has been (and still is) based in Norfolk for the last 7 years but we love partnering with fantastic local venues to showcase them and help brides, coordinators, and planners envision their custom wedding or event design possibilities in that venue's unique event space in this creative workshop.

This one was an amazing experience and I couldn't have asked for a more enthusiastic group of brides, mothers of the brides, wedding coordinators, and event planners.

I wanted attendees to feel encouraged, inspired, and ready to dive into a fun and creative day of learning.

So, from the moment they stepped into the venue they were warmly welcomed with big smiles, hugs, and high-fives. After grabbing some snacks, their "Creative Welcome Packets", and a couple of surprise gifts we jumped into introductions and "get to know each other" activities it was time to get into learning.

I admit, I was honest, sharing my 17-year journey as an entrepreneur including all my ups and downs. My own personal philosophy has always been, "If I can help someone not go through what I did so that they could experience their dreams then I want to be a part of that". So, I opened up and shared my Art & Design methodology and event production secrets so they could see the path they could take from "concept to creation".

Throughout the afternoon, attendees felt cared for and supported by my team and me. They received a wealth of valuable information, industry insights, and tons of my own personal secrets about art & design, weddings & events, floral designing, and planning.

They were also delighted to meet and build connections with our fantastic “Featured Design-related Vendors” including rentals and special effects vendors who could help give their weddings an added visual “WOW factor”.

The hands-on floral activities were a BIG hit, with attendees expressing how much they enjoyed working with and caring for the fresh flowers.

They gained a better understanding of the event design plan and the floral design processes and left feeling confident, creative, and more knowledgeable than ever before.

The table designs they made were also a lot of fun, with everyone showing off their own creative flair and unique style.

It was a day to LEARN... DESIGN... CREATE!

Overall, it was an incredible day of insight, support, and creativity. Our attendees left feeling empowered and excited to apply their new knowledge and skills to their upcoming events.

I've already started to receive messages from people who missed out on this one, asking about the next workshop! I can't wait to host another event like this soon.
