Real Wedding Review 2017, Real Love: Ross-Stephens Wedding

Today's Featured Flashback of 2017 is another breathtaking wedding we will never forget!

When I asked this Washington DC/Maryland couple to describe the feeling they wanted their wedding to convey Lakita & Judge simply said two words, "Power & Elegance". This couple's wedding design was about rich colors, chic contrasts, and clean contemporary style. Regal hues of navy, aubergine, plum and royal blue were only enhanced by sleek, radiant gold accents in stunning geometric shapes. Geometric shapes continued to create bold, powerful, clean lines which contrasted dramatically with lush, soft elegant flowers.

Personal flowers like bouquets featured the full, natural silhouettes of delicate fresh flowers like roses, anemones, and lisiathus accented with flowing satin ribbon and the surprising twist of gold metallic wire hand-crafted to create definition and shape. Dynamic calla lily boutonnieres were also accented with gold metallic wire to create a sculptural element.

Their alter was a 7 ft tall wrought iron circle adorned with flowing greenery and fresh flowers in rich blue and purple hues. The striking pattern of pintuck plum linens and navy blue napkins created a luxurious canvas for the tablescape. Their table designs featured curvaceous 30" tall mermaid vases holding full and lavish flowers and surrounded with flickering candle light. A sweetheart table should always a breathtaking focal point and couple's table shimmered with a captivating plum sequin linens, beaded glass chargers and custom-designed accents to truly make their wedding design one-of-a-kind.
