Real Wedding: Tiff & Ro in glamorous 1920s Jazz era

Ever meet a couple and immediately see how perfect they are for each other? That's Tiff & Ro! With a friendship and love this timeless it was exciting for us to help this couple create their 1920's theme wedding. I met Tiffany & Rogelio over a year and a half before their big day at a bridal event and instantly fell in love with their enthusiasm for fantasy, fiction, and fabulous fun. Tiff and Ro wanted to journey back in time for their special day and create a glamorous Jazz Era theme experience.

Tiff and Ro changed vows surrounded by the love, warmth and joy as their family and friends all dressed in fabulous feathers, pearls, spats, flapper dresses, and other attire from the 1920s. In fact, as guests walked towards the the ceremony room they were met by little boys dressed like "Newies" handing out Newspaper print-style programs yelling, "EXTRA, EXTRA... READ ALL ABOUT IT... RED &THE DUCHESS GETTING HITCHED!!" The destination venue of the Virginia Beach Convention Center was transformed into a several stunning backdrops for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.

The Bride's bouquet design of peony, garden roses, ranuculus, lisianthus, pearls and even feathers (along with other designs) as presented to her months in advance via a concept sketch and brought to life on her wedding day which exquisitely complimented her stunning gown and dramatic lace veil.

The first major transformation was the a meeting area at the Convention Center. The warm amber, candle light tone glow from up-lighting by Stage Right lighting reflected perfectly against the billowing wall of fabric and draped circle alter from Vivid Expressions. Tall clusters of gold candle holders, crystal accented clear pedestal for the unity candle ceremony, and clusters of extra tall cylinder vases with floating candles adorned the aisle and created an enchanting entrance for the bridal party.

After the ceremony guests transitioned into a cocktail lounge area featuring large posters of 1920s Jazz legends like Cab Calloway and Josephine Baker. When the ballroom doors opened guests entered a breathtaking glamorous gala filled with art decor accents, vibrant lighting, a sophisticated back and with table layout in a X patterns with tall abundant feather centerpieces, white crystal candelabra, shimmering gold sequins, and hundreds of strands of pearls. Of course Tiff and Ro a sparkling sweetheart table in front of a custom backdrop featuring fabric, giant flowers, and a 8 ft tall trumpet floral arrangement. Guests laughed, dined and danced in music and magic filled the ballroom well into the end of an unforgettable night for Tiff and Ro
